Purpose: The endoscopic endonasal approach (EEA) has become the preferred treatment for pituitary tumors, with minimal sinonasal morbidity. However, patients with Cushing's disease (CD) may represent a subgroup with prolonged impairment of sinonasal quality of life (QOL).
Methods: We retrospectively identified patients with CD who underwent EEA at our institution.
Objective(s): This investigation aimed to define the rate of outpatient follow-up after in-hospital consultation, identify factors associated with establishing care, and evaluate an alternative scheduling process to improve outpatient adherence.
Methods: Two-phase, prospective study at an academic, tertiary-care institution from March 2020 to August 2022. First, all patients not previously known to our practice encountered via inpatient consult who warranted outpatient follow-up were prospectively captured.
Background: Total intravenous anaesthesia (TIVA) with propofol, compared to inhaled anaesthesia (IA), has been proposed to reduce bleeding and improve surgical field quality during endoscopic sinus surgery (ESS), but prior meta-analyses have not been conclusive. We performed an updated meta-analysis to determine the benefit of TIVA versus IA during ESS.
Methodology: PubMed, EMBASE, and Cochrane Library were searched for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) comparing TIVA versus IA.

Method: A retrospective register study of 609 males who received hospitalized care for AN in Sweden between 1973 and 2010 was performed. The standardized mortality ratios (SMRs) and Cox regression-derived hazard ratios (HRs) were calculated as measures of mortality.
Background: The significance of cardiac troponin I (TnI) levels in patients with acute ischemic stroke remains unclear.
Methods: Data were prospectively collected on 1718 patients with acute ischemic stroke (2009-2010). Patients with positive TnI (peak TnI ≥0.
