Purpose: Greater trochanter pain syndrome (GTPS) is highly discussed during spine surgeons, accompanies lumbar pain and complicates differential diagnosis. The aim is to raise awareness among physicians and demonstrate the lumbar spine degenerative diseases (LSDD) association with GTPS.
Methods: A retro-prospective analysis enrolled 172 patients with LSDD with GTPS signs.
Preparation of stable hydrogels using physically (electrostatically) interacting charge-complementary polyelectrolyte chains seems to be more attractive from a practical point of view than the use of organic crosslinking agents. In this work natural polyelectrolytes-chitosan and pectin-were used, due to their biocompatibility and biodegradability. The biodegradability of hydrogels is confirmed by experiments with hyaluronidase as an enzyme.

In this work, N-succinyl chitosan/hyaluronic acid dialdehyde/cytostatic formulations have been prepared using two different chitosan grades (30 kDa and 150 kDa) and hyaluronic acid dialdehyde. The interaction of amino groups of N-succinyl chitosan and aldehydes of hyaluronic acid resulted in the formation of azomethine bonds and was demonstrated using C NMR.

One of the reasons contributing to the development of arterial hypertension is endothelial dysfunction, which is expressed in the imbalance of vasoactive indicators of vascular tone - nitrogen oxide and endothelin-1. Monitoring the indicators of endothelial dysfunction in workers exposed to harmful occupational factors will help to identify a risk group for the development of occupationally caused diseases of the cardiovascular system and, in particular, arterial hypertension, for early implementation of preventive measures.

Necropsy revealed that most of the internal organs, including the brain, heart with the main vessels, and reproductive system were well preserved. It demonstrated that the anatomy of this bison was close to that of the genera Bos and Bison.

At the same time, the conclusions can be made from these publications. In particular, to the effect that studies of proteome of saliva are at the stage of data accumulation only.

The technology platform including direct proteome mass-spectrometer profiling after pre-fractional rectification using magnetic particles MB WCX was applied. The significant differences in mass-spectra were established manifesting in detection of more mass-spectrometer peaks and higher indicators of their intensity and area in group of healthy children.

Patients And Methods: The study included 35 children (age median 8.0 years) with previously diagnosed CD, among them 15 - on a strict GFD and 20 - on a semistrict GFD.
Background: The aim of the study was to investigate the levels of S-nitrosothiols (RSNO) in blood serum of children with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), nonspecific ulcerative colitis (NUC) and Crohn's disease (CD), and correlate the obtained data with the number of total nitric oxide metabolites (NOx) and proinflammatory cytokines (PC).
Methods: RSNO and NOx were determined by the Griess method and PC by ELISA. We examined 174 children of both genders aged from 6 to 17 years (mean age - 14 years) including 112 children suffering from IBD and 62 children from the control group.

Aim: Determination of the optimal diagnostic and treatment strategy in patients with scoliosis and having an anatomic shortening of the lower limb.
Patients And Methods: Surgical correction of scoliosis held 8 to patients with lower limb shortening caused by congenital dislocation of the hip (n = 3), anatomic shortening of the lower extremities due to the hip (n = 1), the shin bone (n = 4). Shortening before correction and fixation of scoliosis ranged from 6 to 14 cm, after surgery on the spine has been reduced by 2-4 cm achieved reduction or removal of pelvic obliquity.

Aim: To detect changes in the concentration of nitric oxide and its metabolites--nitrites and nitrates in conjunction with the indices of the glutathione system in the children with chronic hepatitis B and C.
Patients And Methods: In the research took a part 76 patients (boys or girls) with chronic hepatitis B and C aged from 7 up to 16 years. Nitric oxide and its metabolites determined by method of V.
The concentrations of epidermal growth factor (EGF) in saliva, gastric juice, and blood and those of macrophages in mucosal biopsy specimens were determined in children with duodenal ulcer disease. The maximum level of EGF was noted in the saliva. There were unidirectional positive changes in the levels of EGF and macrophages during ulcerative defect healing.

The peculiarities of craniovertebral abnormalities and dysplasias in children and adolescents have been studied. Different diagnostic methods (dopplerography of spinal arteries, ultrasonography, remote infrared thermography, laser doppler flowmetry, etc) were compared. The outlines for treatment the patients with cervical dysplasias are described.

Twenty-seven myeloscintigraphic examinations were carried out in 24 patients aged 6 to 66 with various diseases and involvements of the spine. Seven patients suffered from scoliosis complicated by neurologic symptoms, 2 from compression fractures of the L2 vertebra, 1 from a benign tumor of the spinal cord, 13 from various dislocations of the upper cervical segments of the spine, and 1 from a chronic fracture of the spinous process of C2 vertebra. Myeloscintigraphic examinations revealed different disorders of the spinal cord subarachnoidal space patency.
