We used Jones-matrix images of protein networks of blood plasma films obtained from laser autofluorescence and determined the sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, and prognostication of positive and negative results. Our study aimed (1) to develop and substantiate new approaches for the diagnosis of endometriosis by improving the methods of Jones-matrix mapping of laser-induced auto-fluorescence and (2) to develop statistical approaches for analyzing the distribution of values of the true component of Jones-matrix images of blood plasma. Biological preparations were performed for two groups: 35 samples from control group 1 (women with infertility of unknown origin) and 85 samples from group 2 with endometriosis (women with infertility and endometriosis).

We present a rare case report of a bilateral avascular necrosis of lateral sacral masses in a patient who developed a sustainable complete clinical and radiological response after chemoradiotherapy for locally advanced rectal cancer. It is shown that despite the standardized and precise planning and fractioning for neoadjuvant chemoradiation therapy for locally advanced rectal cancer, the biological effects of ionizing radiation on critical organs can be va- ried both in time of occurrence and in structure. Evaluating the effect of neoadjuvant chemoradiation therapy, one should take into account the possibility of the development of even very rare effects of ionizing radiation on criti- cal organs and include their early detection in the diagnostic algorithm.

Resection and simultaneous reconstruction of the infrarenal aorta and inferior vena cava (case report).

A non-standard surgicall approach in malignant retroperitoneal tumor treatment was used, which includes simultaneous resection and reconstruction of the infrarenal segment of aorta and inferior vena cava. The total vascular recunstrustion time was 40 minutes and 15 minutes out of total time was arterial ischemia. Purpose: The incidence of colorectal cancer (CRC) is increasing worldwide, and the greatest increase is in low- to middle-income countries, such as Ukraine. Better knowledge of epidemiology of CRC in Ukraine is needed to understand how best to decrease the burden of disease.

Methods: The National Cancer Registry of Ukraine (NCRU) was queried for CRC incidence, mortality, stage, and treatment in Ukraine and assessed for regional variation from 1999 to 2015.
