To develop novel inorganic red pigments without harmful elements, we focused on the band structure of Ca(Mg, Co)WO and attempted to narrow its bandgap by replacing the W sites in the host structure of Mo. CaMgCoWMoO (0.10 ≤ ≤ 0.

The crystal structure, morphology, optical properties, and color were characterized. The Eu-doped samples strongly absorbed blue light in the wavelength range of 435-480 nm, which was caused by the 4f-5d allowed transition of Eu.

Methods: The intervention group consisted of 106 school students of three elementary schools and received a smoking prevention program in the elementary school. Moreover, the follow-up tests were conducted at each grade of junior high school, and the booster program was mailed.
