In this study, an efficient fog collector-type 1 and 2 cylindrical brush-has been introduced and its harvesting performance compared to other conventional collectors under field and laboratory conditions. Under field conditions, type 1 cylindrical brush with Raschel and aluminum mesh was installed in the inlet of the humidity front of the Caspian Sea to Ardabil plain in Abi-beyglu in the northwest of Iran. The results of the analysis of the collected water revealed that type 1 cylindrical brush collected 9.

Quality by design is the foundation of the risk management framework for extractables and leachables (E&Ls) recommended by the Extractables and Leachables Safety Information Exchange (ELSIE). Following these principles during the selection of materials for pharmaceutical product development minimizes the presence of highly toxic substances and decreases the health risk of potential leachables in the drug product. The present study deals with preparing a polymer-based material with incorporated ceramics and monitoring changes in properties after in vitro natural degradation. The developed material is a mixture of polymers of polylactic acid and polyhydroxybutyrate in a ratio of 85:15. During the toxicological assessment of extractables and leachables in drug products, localized hazards such as irritation or sensitization may be identified. We investigated the photocatalytic behavior of gold nanoparticles supported on CeO-TiO nanostructured matrixes in the CO preferential oxidation in H-rich stream (photo-CO-PROX), by modifying the electronic band structure of ceria through addition of titania and making it more suitable for interacting with free electrons excited in gold nanoparticles through surface plasmon resonance. CeO samples with different TiO concentrations (0-20 wt %) were prepared through a slow coprecipitation method in alkaline conditions. The synthetic route is surfactant-free and environmentally friendly.

Relational psychoanalysts have been seeing ghosts, belonging to both patients and analysts, which can haunt the analytic dyad, especially if left unprocessed by any of the parties. Drawing on two clinical examples, I explore a state of "speechlessness" that followed comments by patients that alluded to assumptions about my ethnic and religious background. I make a case that in these encounters mis-recognition by the patient led to a confusion of self-states, leading to "speechlessness" and fragmentation in me.

Self-powered photodetectors operating in the UV-visible-NIR window made of environmentally friendly, earth abundant, and cheap materials are appealing systems to exploit natural solar radiation without external power sources. In this study, we propose a new p-n junction nanostructure, based on a ZnO-CoO core-shell nanowire (NW) system, with a suitable electronic band structure and improved light absorption, charge transport, and charge collection, to build an efficient UV-visible-NIR p-n heterojunction photodetector.
