[Possibilities of using the CO2 laser in gynecology].

A continuous-action CO2 laser of 15-20 W was used in 358 females on the treatment of largely benign or precancerous conditions of the cervix and external genitalia. The procedure is painless and produces no side-effects. There is no associated edema, bleeding or leukorrhea.

[Dysplasia of the epithelium of the gastric mucosa].

A review of the literature on the spread, location, morphology, and fate of dysplasia of the gastric mucosa epithelium is presented. Dysplastic conditions of the gastric mucosa epithelium is presented. Dysplastic conditions of the gastric mucosa are noted to occur in all pre-cancer changes of the mucous membrane and to indicate a higher risk of adenocarcinoma development.

[Histogenesis and mechanism of regression of congenital cutaneous angiomas in children (electron-microscopic study)].

The ultrastructure of hemangiomas of the skin was investigated in 4 children at the age of 3 to 6 months. Histologically, the hemangiomas were represented by hypertrophic and capillar forms. Tumour cells, both those forming walls of capillaries and distributed between capillaries, were similar with respect to their ultrastructure and analogous to the endothelial cells they originated from.
