Aim: To investigate tomographic features of late corneal ectasia after keratoplasty for keratoconus and compare penetrating keratoplasty (PK) and deep anterior lamellar keratoplasty (DALK) in terms of incidence, time of onset and risk factors of corneal ectasia.
Methods: Sixty eyes with PK and 30 eyes with DALK operated between 1999 and 2021 were analyzed. Final Pentacam scans were evaluated together with vision and previous topographies.
The prediction of live weight (LW) is of critical importance to farmers in a range of applications, including breeding and monitoring animal growth. In this context, Ridge, Least Absolute Shrinkage and Selection Operator (LASSO), and Elastic Net as shrinkage methods, and Classification and Regression Trees (CART) and Random Forest (RF) as tree-based regression methods were used in this study to predict LW of Akkaraman Sheep at 6-month age using sex, birth weight (BW) and some morphological traits such as withers height (WH), chest depth (CD), body length (BL), chest width (CW), rump height (RH), and chest circumference (CC). The dataset of 100 sheep, consisting of 44 males and 56 females, was randomly divided into training and test sets with a ratio of 80% and 20%, respectively.

Materials And Methods: We retrospectively compared 64 eyes of 55 patients who had penetrating keratoplasty and 40 eyes of 37 patients who had deep anterior lamellar keratoplasty for keratoconus (October 2003-February 2021). Best-corrected visual acuity, Goldmann applanation tonometry, fundus examination with 90D lens, and specular microscopy with CEM-530 (Nidek) were performed preoperatively and every 6 months postoperatively.
Hybrids with different morphological and yield characteristics are used in the table egg production. There is no change in the cage systems according to the different hybrids in the regulation. This study aimed to investigate the effects of genotype (brown laying hybrids (BLH) and white laying hybrids (WLH)) and cage type (conventional and enriched cages) on behaviours of hens at the 90% egg production level.

The aim of this research was to determine the effects of coating broiler hatching eggs with chitosan on egg quality, embryonic growth, hatching results and chick quality. Eggs obtained from old broiler breeder, aged 59 weeks, were used. Eggs were divided into two groups (coated with chitosan and uncoated) groups.

Laying hens can be used in several production periods by applying molting. The aim of this study was to determine the cage type (unenriched and enriched) on performance, welfare, and microbiological properties of laying hens during the molting period and the second production cycle.

Method: Seventeen patients with PCV were included this study. The participants were divided into two groups according to ICGA images.
The litter quality is an important factor affecting the performance, welfare and carcass quality of the broilers. Depending on the progress of the fattening duration, some materials may be added to the litter in order to keep the pH, moisture and ammonia levels in the litter under control. Sepiolite is a natural material and it has strong absorbing ability to the water.

Lohmann Brown Classic (LB, n=532) and Lohmann LSL Classic (LW, n=532) hens were housed from 16 to 73 wk in either conventional cages or enriched cages. Enriched cages had a nesting area, scratch pad, perch, and nail shortener.

An observational technique was used at a total of 57 public playgrounds. A playground safety control form was prepared based on the United States National Program for Playground Safety and the Consumer Product Safety Commission security standards, since there is no national law covering playground equipment and safety in Turkey.
