This study examines the performance of ChatGPT, developed by OpenAI and widely used as an AI-based conversational tool, as a data analysis tool through exploratory factor analysis (EFA). To this end, simulated data were generated under various data conditions, including normal distribution, response category, sample size, test length, factor loading, and measurement models. The generated data were analyzed using ChatGPT-4o twice with a 1-week interval under the same prompt, and the results were compared with those obtained using R code.

Hylan G-F 20 (Synvisc-One) is a hyaluronic acid derivative used for viscosupplementation of synovial fluid in osteoarthritic joints. Injection of hylan G-F 20 is Federal Drug Administration approved for use in knee osteoarthritis and is generally well tolerated with few reported adverse effects, the most common being local pain or swelling. Technologies for engineering synthetic transcription factors have enabled many advances in medical and scientific research. In contrast to existing methods based on engineering of DNA-binding proteins, we created a Cas9-based transactivator that is targeted to DNA sequences by guide RNA molecules.
