The purpose of this study was to investigate whether tumor necrosis depicted on contrast-enhanced abdominal MRI can predict tumor aggressiveness in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). In this retrospective analysis, we included 71 patients with pathology-proven PDAC who underwent contrast-enhanced MRI from 2006 to 2020. Assessment for the presence/absence of imaging detected necrosis was performed on T2-weighted and contrast-enhanced T1-weighted images.

Poynting flux (PF) calculated from low Earth orbit spacecraft in situ ion drift and magnetic field measurements is an important measure of energy exchange between the magnetosphere and ionosphere. Defense Meteorological Satellite Program (DMSP) spacecraft provide an extensive back-catalog of ion drift and magnetic perturbation measurements, from which quasi-steady PF could be calculated. In order to test whether the difference is statistically significant, the model uncertainties have been estimated by dividing the data sets for each hemisphere into two nonintersecting sets, and separately constructing the model using each of the four sets. We have developed a method for reprocessing the multi-decadal, multi-spacecraft Defense Meteorological Satellite Program Magnetometer (DMSP SSM) dataset and have applied it to fifteen spacecraft-years of data (DMSP Flight 16-18, 2010-2014). This Level-2 dataset improves on other available SSM datasets with recalculated spacecraft locations and magnetic perturbations, artifact signal removal, representations of the observations in geomagnetic coordinates, and in-situ auroral boundaries. Spacecraft locations have been recalculated using ground-tracking information.

Methods: A retrospective image analysis was performed on 103 patients with end-stage renal disease who underwent AP-CTA. Forty-nine patients were scanned at 80 kV(p) with a mean of 48 mL of contrast, and 54 patients were scanned at 120 kV(p) with a mean of 98 mL of contrast.
