The effect of neutron irradiation on the structural, optical, and electronic properties of doped strained heterostructures with AlGaAs/InGaAs/GaAs and AlGaAs/InGaAs/AlGaAs quantum wells was experimentally studied. Heterostructures with a two-dimensional electron gas of different layer constructions were subjected to neutron irradiation in the reactor channel with the fluence range of 2 × 10 cm ÷ 1.2 × 10 cm.

Multiple sclerosis is a common cause of disability among young and middle-aged people. Despite the modern possibilities of diagnostics and therapy, over time, the disease acquires a secondary progressive character. Rehabilitation of patients at all stages of the disease plays an important role in improving well-being, improving the quality of life, adapting the patient and restoring motor skills.

Materials And Methods: The clinical study involved patients with partially edentulous anterior maxillae, chronic apical periodontitis and dental root fractures in the absence of possibility to restore these teeth with orthopedic structures.
Shames et al. made a comment on our article (DOI: 10.1039/C7CP05898E) stating that their experience in EPR studies of detonation nanodiamonds suggests the existence of two main types of paramagnetic center in detonation nanodiamonds which questions our results.

Background: the relevance of this study arises from the high prevalence of upper limb motor impairment and pathological synergy in the post-stroke patients; these conditions are very difficult to correct with the use of the traditional rehabilitation methods. A promising but insufficiently studied approaches are the virtual reality (VR) technology as well as its combination with other techniques.
Aim: The objective of the present study was to evaluate the influence of the training making use of the mechanotherapeutic system on the motor function of the paretic hand.
In this article a method to assess the location of paramagnetic centers in nanodiamonds was proposed. The nuclear magnetic relaxation of adsorbed He used as a probe in this method was studied at temperatures of 1.5-4.

The authors presents a clinical case of monozygotic twins with association of PSC and nonspecific ulcerative colitis (NUC). The first twin had a severe course of PSC and mild course of NUC; he died due to bacterial complications of cholangitis.

The signals show the formation of the Bose-Einstein condensation (BEC) of magnons and the existence of spin supercurrent, in complete analogy with the spin superfluidity in the superfluid (3)He and the atomic BEC of quantum gases. In the experiments described here, the temperature of the magnon BEC is a thousand times larger than in the superfluid (3)He.

The residual dipolar couplings were extracted as the differences between the observed couplings for the magnetic nuclei dissolved in the latter and former media. Using a computational optimization, the spatial structures of the compounds were calculated starting from their respective low energy conformations obtained on a semiempirical basis.

To specify the character of vestibular cochlear disturbances in multiple sclerosis (MS) and mechanisms of their formation, the objective quantitative evaluation of experimental caloric nystagmus using the computer electronystagmographic method and a comparison of hearing impairment with asymmetry of vestibular reactions were conducted in 48 patients with MS. The peculiarities of vestibular disturbance found in the study suggest a predominance of central vestibular syndrome with both subtentorial and supratentorial traits. The influence of the heat stimulus of vestibular analyzer (hot water caloric test) in multiple sclerosis revealed during computer electronystagmography may have diagnostic value.
