[Use of controlled respiratory rhythm to enhance stress resistance in pupils].

To enhance stress resistance in pupils is now a very urgent problem. The influence of a method affecting the central nervous system as acquisition of the averaged value of intrinsic respiratory rhythm has been studied. There has been a positive result of using the procedure to increase working capacity during performance by pupils and positive changes in electroencephalographic readings, by optimizing the autonomic provision for their activity.

[Characteristics of bioelectrical activity of the brain in children with different forms of consequences of CNS perinatal damage].

An electroencephalographical survey of 28 healthy children and 87 children with mild types of consequences of CNS perinatal damage has been carried out. The children's age was 1-3 years. The patients have been divided into clinical subgroups as follows: with sleep disorders (24), with myotonic syndrome (20), with general speech underdevelopment (22) and with delayed mental development (21).
