The levels of metalloproteinases (MMP-2,-9), their tissue inhibitors (TIMP-1,-2) and extracellular matrix metalloproteinase inducer (EMMPRIN) were studied in tumor tissue and blood serum from patients with head and neck squamous sell carcinoma.
