Efficacy of two low-level laser therapy protocols following lower third molar surgery - a randomized, double-blind, controlled clinical trial.

The aim of this study was to test two low-level laser therapy protocols by evaluating pain control, swelling and trismus in the postoperative period of lower third molar surgeries. This was a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, crossover trial. Patients presenting two symmetrically impacted mandibular third molars were included.
