Introduction: Despite the high prevalence and detrimental consequences of cognitive and executive dysfunction in ADHD, the evidence base of cognitive remediation in the adult ADHD population is sparse. Executive problems can increase both anxiety and depression in ADHD. Thcus, it is important to develop treatment options for adults with ADHD, aiming to improve goal-directed behavior and mood.

The possible predictive value of executive functions, neurological disability, depression and general cognitive ability was assessed, employing Goal Attainment Scaling (GAS). Fifty-seven patients with MS were assessed for executive functions, neurological disability, depression and general cognitive ability, and guided through the process of formulating GAS-goals for coping with cognitive challenges in everyday life during a four week in-patient cognitive rehabilitation programme.

Background: The motor and non-motor symptoms of multiple sclerosis often result in a substantially reduced health-related quality of life. We surveyed patient satisfaction and own evaluation of the benefit of a period spent at a specialised rehabilitation centre.
Material And Method: All patients who spent a period at the Hakadal MS rehabilitation centre in 2010 were asked to complete a validated questionnaire designed to determine patient satisfaction with rehabilitation institutions.
