Tilapia lake virus (TiLV) is an emerging viral pathogen of tilapiines worldwide in wild and farmed tilapia. TiLV is an orthomyxo-like, negative sense segmented RNA virus, belonging to genus Tilapinevirus, family Amnoonviridae.
