Background: People with Parkinson's disease (PwP) often report problems with their handwriting before they receive a formal diagnosis. Many PwP suffer from deteriorating handwriting throughout their illness, which has detrimental effects on many aspects of their quality of life.
Aims: To assess a 6-week online training programme aimed at improving handwriting of PwP.
Redirecting anthropogenic waste phosphorus (P) flows from receiving water bodies to high P demand agricultural fields requires a resource management approach that integrates biogeochemistry, agronomy, engineering, and economics. In the US Midwest, agricultural reuse of P recovered from spatially colocated waste streams stands to reduce point-source P discharges, meet agricultural P needs, and-depending on the speciation of recovered P-mitigate P losses from agriculture. However, the speciation of P recovered from waste streams via its chemical transformation-referred to here as recovered P (rP) differs markedly based on waste stream composition and recovery method, which can further interact with soil and crop characteristics of agricultural sinks.

Lack of vitamin C for lysyl- and prolyl-hydroxylase activity may explain the defects in collagen and elastin formation found in ATS, and draws strong parallels between ATS and scurvy. Topically applied vitamin C has a well-established basis in the field of skin care, and part of its benefit is attributed to proper collagen formation in the skin.

We found that extracellular signal-regulated kinase 7 (ERK7) preferentially enhances the destruction of ER alpha but not the related androgen receptor. Loss of ERK7 was correlated with breast cancer progression, and all ER alpha-positive breast tumors had decreased ERK7 expression compared to that found in normal breast tissue.

The patient had a ruptured occipital arteriovenous malformation. The malformation was managed by temporary correction of the coagulopathy using cryoprecipitate, platelet transfusions, and plasmapheresis with fresh frozen plasma replacement.
