Article Synopsis
  • Pulpectomy for primary teeth is traditionally done with hand files, which can be complicated and slow, but newer rotary instruments have improved design features that make the process more efficient.
  • The study aims to evaluate the cleaning effectiveness and filling accuracy of conventional hand files compared to rotary V Taper files in root canals of primary molars using advanced imaging techniques.
  • Results showed that the hybrid group achieved nearly complete filling of canals with minimal voids, while the hand file group had a significant number of partially filled canals, highlighting the advantages of rotary systems in clinical practice.
