Introduction: The onset of COVID-19 has caused an international upheaval of traditional in-person approaches to care delivery. Rapid system-level transitions to virtual care provision restrict the ability of healthcare professionals to evaluate care quality from the patient's perspective. This poses challenges to ensuring that patient-centered care is upheld within virtual environments.

The aim of this manuscript is to describe the operationalization of these principles through the creation of a Patient Advisory Council (PAC) for the research study titled 'Re-Purposing the Ordering of Routine laboratory Tests (RePORT)'.
Methods: Researchers collaborated with the Alberta SPOR SUPPORT Unit (AbSPORU) Patient Engagement Team to create a diverse PAC.
Background: Indiscriminate use of laboratory blood testing in hospitals contributes to patient discomfort and healthcare waste. Patient engagement in low-value healthcare can help reduce overuse. Understanding patient experience is necessary to identify opportunities to improve patient engagement with in-hospital laboratory testing.

The article presents an analysis of the application of physical therapy methods during the Great Patriotic War in the Soviet Union. It was observed that physical therapy, combined with surgical and other methods, significantly improves the efficacy of patients' treatment, including with battle injuries, as well as with injuries of other etiology, such as frostbite, and also contributes to reducing the incidence of disabilities among the injured. The features of the physical therapy methods' organization sequently from 1941 to 1945, and also the results of active development of physical medicine, have been characterized.

Unlabelled: The post-stroke cognitive impairment syndrome (PSCI) develops in 10-80% cases of ischemic stroke and leads to a significant patients' quality of life impairment. The standard program of cognitive rehabilitation includes nootropic agents therapy and neuro-cognitive training. The additional various methods of non-invasive brain stimulation (NIBS) application can improve the results of PSCI rehabilitation.

Objective: To study the effectiveness of a course of intravenous administration of cytoflavin in combination with a standard rehabilitation program for post-COVID fatigue syndrome caused by mitochondrial dysfunction.
Material And Methods: The dynamic examination of 45 patients with post-COVID syndrome at the second stage of rehabilitation was carried out. The patients were subdivided into 2 groups comparable in gender and age.

Unlabelled: Ischemic stroke (IS) is a serious medical and social problem due to the widespread prevalence, profound and long-term disability of patients. The effectiveness of pharmaceutical neuroprotection in IS remains low which necessitates the investigation of new therapeutic methods in post-stroke patients.
Objective: The rationale for the use of infrared (IR) radiation with terahertz (THz) modulation in the complex treatment of patients in the acute period of IS.
Chronic maternal stress during pregnancy can have long-term, detrimental consequences for the offspring. An understanding of the mechanisms responsible for mediating these effects is essential for devising therapeutic interventions. Here, we examined whether serotonin 1A receptor (5-HTR) mediates the effects of maternal stress on the behavioral outcomes of the offspring as adults.

The main statistical indicators of the activities of physiotherapy units (PTU) in the tuberculosis dispensaries (TBD) of Saint Petersburg are presented. Monitoring the compliance of the equipment available in PTU of TBD with the requirements of the modern Health Care Standard for the patients suffering from tuberculosis (TB) as approved by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation has been carried out. It has demonstrated that the current state of medical care in this country provides but the limited availability of the physiotherapeutic treatment for the TB patients.

One of the primary pharmacological treatments for anxiety and depression is the antidepressant fluoxetine (Flx). Maternal stress, depression, and Flx exposure are known to effect neurodevelopment of the offspring, however, their combined effects have been scarcely studied, especially in female offspring.

Introduction: Women of child-bearing age are the population at greatest risk for depression. The stress experienced during pregnancy and the associated antidepressant treatments can both affect fetal development. Fluoxetine (FLX) is among the most common antidepressants used by pregnant women.

Methods: We introduced a magnetised 10-100 μT metal rod (needle) into culture dishes with a negatively charged working surface and observed during 24 h how cells were arranged by MFs and by electrical fields (EFs) when attached. Rat and human bone marrow-derived stromal stem cells (rBMSCs and hBMSCs), human nonadherent mononuclear blood cells, NCTCs and A172 cells, and () were evaluated.
Unlabelled: Women of child-bearing age are the population group at highest risk for depression. In pregnant women, fluoxetine (Flx) is the most widely prescribed selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) used for the treatment of depression. While maternal stress, depression, and Flx exposure have been shown to effect neurodevelopment of the offspring, separately, combined effects of maternal stress and Flx exposure have not been extensively examined.

Unlabelled: The objective of the present study was to review the experimental studies concerned with in vitro and in vivo visible and infrared light irradiation of human and animal stem cells (SC) to assess the possibilities of using its photobiomodulatory effects for the purpose of regenerative medicine (RM). Despite the long history of photochromotherapy there is thus far no reliable theoretical basis for the choice of such irradiation parameters as power density, radiation dose and exposure time. Nor is there a generally accepted opinion on the light application for the purpose of regenerative medicine.

Objective: The present article was designed to overview the experimental studies of visible and infrared light irradiation of human and animal stem cells (SC) in vitro and in vivo for the evaluation of its photobiomodulatory effects. The results will be used to elaborate substantiation for the choice of the parameters of SC light irradiation and to develop recommendations for the application of this method in regenerative medicine (RM).
Background: The clinical application of light irradiation is a matter of contrsy, in the first place due to the difficulties encountered in the rational choice of irradiation parameters.
Objective: The aim of this article is to review experimental studies of visible and infrared light irradiation of human and animal stem cells (SCs) in vitro and in vivo to assess photobiomodulation effects on their proliferation and differentiation.
Background Data: The clinical application of light irradiation remains controversial, primarily because of the complexity of the rational choice of irradiation parameters. In laboratories, the theoretical justification underlying the choice of irradiation parameters also remains a challenge.
Rationale: Fluoxetine (Flx; brand names Prozac, Sarafem, Rapiflux), a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor, is prescribed for the treatment of depression in pregnant women; however, this commonly prescribed medication could affect fetal brain development as Flx crosses the placenta. The available data concerning the anatomical and behavioural consequences of perinatal exposure to Flx during early development on adult behaviour are limited and often contradictory.
Objectives: To further delineate the long-term behavioural effects of altering 5-HT during development, we examined the effects of perinatal Flx exposure on the behaviour of male mice as adults.
During and following pregnancy, women are at high risk of experiencing depression, for which fluoxetine (FLX; brand names Prozac, Sarafem, Rapiflux) is the most commonly prescribed treatment. An estimated 1.4-2.

For treatment, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor drugs, such as fluoxetine, are commonly prescribed, yet the potential effects of perinatal exposure to these drugs on the brain and behaviour have not been examined in humans beyond childhood. This is despite abundant evidence from studies using rodents indicating that altered serotonin levels early in life affect neurodevelopment and behavioural outcomes.

Rational: Depression is prevalent among women of childbearing age and is frequently treated with selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). As some SSRIs, such as fluoxetine (Flx), can cross the placenta, it is possible that the neurodevelopment of the fetus may be affected, leading to altered behavior in adulthood.
Objectives: In this study, we examined the effects of perinatal Flx exposure on the subsequent expression of circadian rhythms in adult mice.
