Nano-patterned magnetic materials have opened new venues for the investigation of strongly correlated phenomena including artificial spin-ice systems, geometric frustration, and magnetic monopoles, for technologically important applications such as reconfigurable ferromagnetism. With the advent of atomically thin 2D van der Waals (vdW) magnets, a pertinent question is whether such compounds could make their way into this realm where interactions can be tailored so that unconventional states of matter can be assessed. Here, it is shown that square islands of CrGeTe vdW ferromagnets distributed in a grid manifest antiferromagnetic correlations, essential to enable frustration resulting in an artificial spin-ice.

Methods: We surveyed LDLs (N = 149) and assessed their sociodemographics, experiences of and perceived reasons for discrimination, and work-related injury. A logistic regression examined the association between discrimination and injury, adjusting for sociodemographics.

Background: Selection, outcome and publication biases are well described in case reports and case series but may be less of a problem early in the appearance of a new disease when all cases might appear to be worth publishing.
Objective: To use a prospectively collected database of primary sources to compare the reporting of COVID-19 in pregnancy in case reports, case series and in registries over the first 8 months of the pandemic.
Study Design: MEDLINE, Embase and Maternity and Infant Care databases were searched from 22 March to 5 November 2020, to create a curated list of primary sources.
A multifunctional ion-sensitive floating gate Fin field-effect transistor (ISFGFinFET) for hydrogen and sodium detection is demonstrated. The ISFGFinFET comprises a FGFET and a sensing film, both of which are used to detect and improve sensitivity. Objectives: The objectives of this study were to: 1) identify sociodemographic, employment, and stress-related characteristics that increase Latino day laborers' odds of experiencing wage theft; 2) assess the association between wage theft and serious work-related injury; 3) assess the association between wage theft and three indicators of mental health-depression, social isolation, and alcohol use-as a function of wage theft; and 4) assess serious work-related injury as a function of wage theft controlling for mental health.
Methods: Secondary data analyses were based on survey data collected from 331 Latino day laborers between November 2013 and July 2014.
A novel in situ imaging solution and detectors array for the focused electron beam (e-beam) are the first time proposed and demonstrated. The proposed in-tool, on-wafer e-beam detectors array features full FinFET CMOS logic compatibility, compact 2 T pixel structure, fast response, high responsivity, and wide dynamic range. The e-beam imaging pattern and detection results can be further stored in the sensing/storage node without external power supply, enabling off-line electrical reading, which can be used to rapidly provide timely feedback of the key parameters of the e-beam on the projected wafers, including dosage, accelerating energy, and intensity distributions.
