Dengue virus (DENV) poses a global health threat, affecting millions individuals annually with no specific therapy and limited vaccines. Mosquitoes, mainly and worldwide, transmit DENV through their saliva during blood meals. In this study, we aimed to understand how mosquito saliva modulate skin immune responses during DENV infection in individuals living in mosquito-endemic regions.
