This study aims to demonstrate that children and adolescents diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) who exhibit autism traits have a more severe clinical profile in terms of emotion regulation, clinical features related to ADHD, and functionality, compared to those diagnosed with ADHD without these traits. 50 patients with and 64 patients without autism traits between the ages of 8-16 were recruited for the study among the children and adolescents diagnosed with ADHD. The Schedule for Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia for School-Age Children-Present and Lifetime Version, DSM-5-2016-Turkish Adaptation (K-SADS-PL-DSM-5-T) was used to exclude the diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and detect comorbid psychiatric diagnosis.

Materials And Methods: A review was made of the demographic, clinicopathologic characteristics, management and follow-up data of 70 patients diagnosed with MBC between May 2010 and December 2020 by examining the patients' historical files and oncology records.
Background/aim: To investigate the possible morbidities associated with the implantation of a totally implantable venous access device (TIVAD) in breast cancer (BC) patients.
Materials And Methods: Clinical data and developed complications in 546 BC patients with TIVAD between 2017 and 2021 were analyzed retrospectively. Among these, 524 (96%) patients who underwent TIVAD implantation via the right subclavian vein (SCV) route were examined separately.

Despite advances in cancer treatment, breast cancer (BC) remains one of the most common cancers affecting women worldwide. This study aimed to determine serum circFBXW7, circABCB10, and circ0103552 levels and compare BC patients and healthy controls to investigate their roles in the molecular mechanism of BC and the significance of these circRNAs in BC diagnosis. The study group consisted of 92 patients with BC and 31 healthy controls.

Methods: ARPE-19 cells established an in vitro AMD model. Cells were exposed to 0-50 μM curcumin for 24 hours to determine optimal concentration by assessing their viability.
Background: Medical brain drain is a critical issue for healthcare systems worldwide. This study investigated attitudes toward brain drain and influencing factors among medical students at Pamukkale University.

Background: Injectable augmentation gels are widely used in the treatment of soft tissue. The composition of these gels has to be continuously improved due to the limitations of the currently available formulations.
Aims: This study focuses on the development of an innovative injectable gel designed to address current trends and specific needs within the field.
Background: This study aims to identify factors predicting recurrence and unfavorable prognosis in cN+ patients who have undergone sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB) following neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC).
Methods: The retrospective multi-centre "MF18-02" and the prospective multi-centre cohort registry trial "MF18-03" (NCT04250129) included patients with cT1-4N1-3M0 with SLNB+/- axillary lymph node dissection (ALND) post-NAC.
Results: A total of 2407 cN+ patients, who later achieved cN0 status after NAC and subsequently underwent SLNB, were studied.

Xenophobia among healthcare professionals can significantly impact the quality of care provided to immigrant and refugee populations, particularly in countries with high influxes such as Türkiye. This study evaluated xenophobia among resident physicians at Pamukkale University Hospital and identified factors influencing these attitudes. This cross-sectional study involving 271 resident physicians at Pamukkale University Hospital was conducted between August 1 and August 20, 2022.

Although targeting the mammalian target of the rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1) signaling pathway exerts potent anti-inflammatory activity, little is known about mTORC2's contribution to non-septic shock. Thus, our research aims to investigate mTORC2's contribution and associated changes of IκB kinase (IKKα)/inhibitor κB (IκB-α)/nuclear factor-ĸB (NF-κB) pathway on Zymosan (ZYM)-induced non-septic rat model using the novel mTORC2 selective inhibitor JR-AB2-011.

In this study, we examined the serum levels of C-C chemokine receptor type 5 (CCR5), C-C motif chemokine ligand 5 (CCL5), platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF), and EphrinA7 (EphA7) in patients with gastric carcinoma and healthy controls to investigate the significance and usability of these potential biomarkers in the early diagnosis of GC. The study enrolled 69 GC patients and 40 healthy individuals.

Patients with AOSD may also present with elevated inflammatory markers, hyperferritinemia, anemia, leukocytosis, hepatosplenomegaly, and lymphadenopathy. Glucocorticoids and biological disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs, including the anti-interleukin-1 agent anakinra, are used in the management of AOSD.

Introduction: Metastatic disease is one of the main causes of death and factors affecting overall survival. It is known that selected patients with pulmonary oligometastases whose primary tumor is under control and who have adequate respiratory capacity may benefit from metastasectomy by resecting all detected lesions.
Aim: To report our findings on the use of video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) for pulmonary metastasectomy, with a focus on identifying suitable candidates.
This study aimed to investigate the effects of çemen pastes prepared in different formulations on physicochemical, microbiological, and textural properties of hamburgers during refrigerated storage (4°C; 60 d). Çemen pastes were produced by using different combination doses of fenugreek seed flour, sweet red pepper, and garlic powder. As a result of çemen paste usage in hamburgers, cooking losses and dimensional shrinkage decreased, whereas moisture and fat retention ratios increased ( < .
