This review aims to amass the evidence to reach the molecular mechanism and clinical significance of miR-132 in different types of cancer. Dysregulation of miR-132 level in various types of malignancies, including hepatocellular carcinoma, breast cancer, colorectal cancer, gastric cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer, osteosarcoma, pancreatic cancer, and ovarian cancer have reported, significantly decrease in its level, which can be indicated to its function as a tumor suppressor.
