The vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) polymorphism is associated with preeclampsia since its abnormal expression plays an important role in vasculogenesis in placenta formation. Thus, this study is aimed at analyzing the association between VEGF +936C/T polymorphism and the risk of preeclampsia.
