Preauricular approach to the temporomandibular joint is the ideal approach in patients with high mandibular condyle fractures and for most arthroplastic procedures. The article presents indications and our modifications of this surgical procedures. Clinical example of surgical treatment of the perforation of the meniscus by preauricular approach is also presented in the article.

The terms of permanent teeth eruption were analyzed in 909 children (permanent residents of St. Petersburg) aged 7-15 years. The study showed that all groups of permanent teeth, except the first molars, erupted on the mandible earlier than on the maxilla.

The agent is superior to the conventional combination of 50% analgin (2 ml) and 1% dimedrolum (1 ml) in its efficiency and duration of action.
