Ten of the most frequent symptoms that do not require special methods of their determination except general clinical examinations established by any health care professional on pre-hospital stage were determined on the basis of analysis of more than one thousand records of patients with acute surgical abdominal diseases and clinical symptom load. The authors performed an assessment of each symptom depending on severity of patient's condition ranging from 1 point (satisfactory condition) till 5 points (critical condition). Information has been obtained: in case of satisfactory condition--up to 10 points, moderate--up to 20 points, heavy--up to 30 points, extremely heavy condition--up to 45 points and terminal condition--more than 45 points.

The article is devoted to analysis of the current system of specialized medical care, specialized treatment and medical rehabilitation of military casualties of minor nature. The author suggested a synergistic approach to combination of the given system with the aim of determination of development conception. Two main schemes of organization of specialized medical care are considered: medical care during the military conflict and local war; medical care during the regional and large-scale war.

The article reflects the experience of the treatment of the servicemen with combined burn injuries got in the Chechen Republic (1994-1996, 1999-2001). 266 causes of medical treatment for combined injuries where the burn was decisive were analyzed: 141 of which were got in the Chechen Republic in 1994-1996, 10 - in Daghestan in August-September of 199 and 125 - in the Chechen Republic in 1999-2001. In the structure of sanitary losses with surgical profile the burnt amounted to 4,1%, and 6,4%.

The experimental model of a cutaneous wound in mice has been offered, aimed to study the proteolytic activity of the wound fluid produced at early stages of wound healing, and to examine the continuous inflammatory state. The presence of metalloproteinases MMP-2 and MMP-9 in the wound fluid matrix was found to correlate with the existence of neutrophils and macrophages in the tissue.

The intravenous injection of an alcoholic plasma extract to mice after the combined exposure to radiation and heat decreases lethality, restores the investigation-and-orientation activities and oxygen consumption, favors the growth of body mass and healing of burns. The antioxidant effect of the extract manifests itself by the decreased rate of formation of lipid peroxidation products in the liver and the suppressed spontaneous and latex-induced chemiluminescence of neutrophils.
