Massive scrotal elephantiasis: A case report.

The condition known as scrotal elephantiasis is a debilitating rarity where the scrotum undergoes significant swelling, typically arising from chronic obstructive lymphedema. A case is presented of a 60-year-old man who had suffered severe and persistent enlargement of his scrotum for multiple years. This affliction greatly affected both his ability to function effectively and caused detrimental psychosocial consequences.

Bladder rupture secondary to bladder tumors: A gateway to peritoneal carcinoma ?

We report a case of spontaneous bladder rupture due to bladder carcinoma. A 62-year-old man presented to the emergency department with acute urine retention; two days later, the patient presented with abdominal distension and a large intraperitoneal effusion on CT scan, as well as a breccia in the bladder. Exploratory laparotomy confirmed a definitive diagnosis: bladder rupture due to bladder carcinoma.

"Diabetic penile necrosis'': A rare but serious complication of diabetes mellitus.

Penile tissue death caused by impaired blood flow and nerve damage is a severe but uncommon complication of diabetes mellitus known as diabetic penile necrosis. Diabetes related vascular and neurological issues result in reduced sensation and limited blood supply to the penis leading to this condition. The consequences on sexual function and quality of life are catastrophic though it's rare, hence early identification, treatment intervention cannot be over emphasized since they help prevent further deterioration including infections that arise from complications occasioned by delayed management.

A case report of giant paratesticular myxoid liposarcoma.

Liposarcomas are an uncommon occurrence in the paratesticular region that makes about 20 % of all sarcomas. The clinical appearance is an inguinal lump, which can resemble a hydrocele or hernia. There would be no conventional treatment accessible because it is such a rare disease.

Crossed renal ectopia: A case report and review of the literature.

Xanthogranulomatous prostatitis is a rare benign inflammatory process of the prostate. Only few cases have been reported in the English literature. Xanthogranulomatous prostatitis is usually an incidental finding after needle biopsy or transurethral resection of the prostate in patients suffering from low urinary tract symptoms.

Lymphoepithelioma-Like Carcinoma of the Bladder: A Case Report of a Rare and Particular Variant of Urothelial Carcinoma.

Lymphoepithelioma-like carcinoma of the bladder (LELCB) is a rare variant of urothelial carcinoma first described by Zukerberg in 1991 and confirmed as a variant of urothelial carcinoma by the WHO classification of tumors of the urinary system. LELCB is characterized by a marked infiltration of lymphocytes in the area involved by the tumor which may coexist with the conventional urothelial carcinoma. LELCB are classified according to the percentage of lymphoepithelioma component within the tumor with the prognosis depending on the percentage.

Penile Gangrene and Necrosis Leading to Death Secondary to Strangulation by Condom Catheter.

Condom catheters are widely used in the management of male urinary incontinence, bedridden patients, and geriatric population. They are considered to be safe; however they are associated with serious complications in case of an incorrect use. We report a dramatic case of penile strangulation by condom catheter tardily discovered till occurrence of necrosis and gangrene leading to death in an elderly bedridden and diabetic man.

[Seminal vesicle cyst: about a case].

We report the case of a patient with symptomatic seminal vesicle cyst on the right side. Imaging examinations (pelvic and endorectal ultrasound, abdominal-pelvic tomodensitometry and MRI) were perdormed and the patient underwent surgical removal of the cyst. In light of this case study, epidemiology, diagnosis and treatment options are discussed.

Vesico-vaginal Fistula (VVF) secondary to bladder cancer is extremely rare. We report the case of a 54-year old post-menopausal patient with neoplasic Vesico-vaginal Fistula (VVF), without any surgical antecedents or recent obstetric trauma. Biopsy of the edges of the fistula confirmed urothelial carcinoma.

Zinner's syndrome: report of two cases and review of the literature.

Background: Congenital malformations of the seminal vesicle are uncommon, and most of them are cystic malformations. If an insult occurs between the 4th and the 13 h gestational week, the embryogenesis of the kidney, ureter, seminal vesicle, and vas deferens could be altered. Cysts of the seminal vesicle may appear with a mass effect, dysuria, epididymitis, or obstruction of the gastrointestinal and genitourinary tracts.

Urethral hemangioma: case report and review of the literature.

Hemangiomas are benign vascular tumors. They are the prerogative of the liver and skin. And genitourinary localizations are rare and have only been rarely reported in the prostat, bladder, ureter or the perineum.
