Background: Crossed fused renal ectopia (CFRE) is a rare congenital malformation. Renal bladder ultrasound (RBUS) is a good tool for establishing the diagnosis, however, additional imaging with a voiding cystourethrogram (VCUG) and dimercaptosuccinic acid scan (DMSA) might be required.
