The solitary fibrous tumor (SFT) is a tumor of uncertain histogenesis, affecting deep soft tissues, particularly the pleura (pulmonary) and extrapulmonary sites including thighs, retroperitoneum, other serosal surfaces, and cranial and spinal meninges.
