Objective: Oral Cabergoline and intravenous Calcium have the potential to prevent Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome (OHSS) in assisted reproductive technology by regulating the activity of the Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) receptor. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of Cabergoline with intravenous Calcium versus oral Cabergoline alone on the overall rate of OHSS.
Methods: This study is a randomized clinical trial which was carried out in Milad Infertility Center affiliated with Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, Mashhad, Iran between April 2016 and January 2018.
Purpose: Prostate cancer (PCa) is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer and the sixth leading cause of cancer death among men worldwide. Biomarkers are an important tool in the early detection of PCa. Prostate-specific antigen (PSA) is one of the oldest biomarkers for the early detection of PCa.

Different methods are used to prepare the endometrium for frozen embryo transfer (FET). The aim of this study was to compare pregnancy outcomes after treatment with tamoxifen and hormonal replacement therapy (HRT) in FET.

Contrast-enhanced ultrasound is currently off-label use in the breast in the United States, but its clinical and investigational use in breast imaging is gaining popularity. It is important for radiologists to be familiar with the imaging appearances of benign and malignant breast masses using contrast-enhanced ultrasound.

Although a laboratory test is the current routine diagnostic tool, it is time-consuming, imposing a high cost and requiring a well-equipped laboratory for analysis. Computed tomography (CT) has thus far become a fast method to diagnose patients with COVID-19.

This study introduced a red-light violation warning (RLVW) system using CAV technology in a driving simulator environment, to evaluate driver braking behavior when the light changes suddenly from green to yellow. Researchers recruited a total of 93 participants from diverse socio-economic backgrounds for this study and created a virtual network of downtown Baltimore.

Materials And Methods: In this prospective study, 76 women were selected for their first IVF/ICSI and met the study inclusion criteria. All of the patients have undergone the endometrial secretion aspiration prior to performing the oocyte collection.
Background: Accurate and automated phenotyping of leaf images is necessary for high throughput studies of leaf form like genome-wide association analysis and other forms of quantitative trait locus mapping. Dissected leaves (also referred to as compound) that are subdivided into individual units are an attractive system to study diversification of form. However, there are only few software tools for their automated analysis.

Most of the complexity is associated with auxiliary fouling control measures, which include backwashing, air sparging and chemical cleaning. Recent studies have demonstrated that sustained operation without fouling control measures is possible, but little is known regarding the conditions under which extended operation can be sustained with minimal to no fouling control measures.

Familiarity with the imaging and management of the most common entities is essential for the radiologist. Additionally, it is important to understand the limitations of ED imaging and management in the acute setting and to recognize when referrals to a specialty breast center are necessary.

The general purpose of this research is to define the effects of an 8-week pelvic floor muscle exercise program on sexual self-efficacy in primiparous women after childbirth.
Materials And Methods: This clinical trial was performed on 79 primiparous women who referred to health care centers, Mashhad, Iran in 2013, 8 weeks after delivery, to receive health care services.
Objectives: To determine treatment efficacy of curettage on endometrial polyp.
Methods: The quasi-experimental pre-and-post study was conducted in 2011-12 at the gynaecology department of Imam Reza Hospital, Mashhad, Iran, and comprised patients who underwent hysteroscopy for endometrial polyp. Location, size, number and base condition of the polyps were recorded before the patient underwent curettage.
Objective: To compare the efficacy of behavioral intervention program and vaginal cones on stress urinary incontinence.
Methods: In this randomized clinical trial, 60 women aged 25-65 years with stress urinary incontinence were randomly divided into two groups, those who participated in a behavioral intervention program (n=30) and those who used vaginal cones (n=30). The women in the behavioral intervention group were instructed on pelvic floor exercise and bladder control strategies.
The aim of the present study was to evaluate the degree of sperm DNA fragmentation in couples with idiopathic recurrent spontaneous abortion (RSA) and in those with no history of infertility or abortion. In this cohort study, 30 couples with RSA and 30 fertile couples as control group completed the demographic data questionnaires, and their semen samples were analysed according to World Health Organization (WHO) standards (September 2009-March 2010) for evaluation of sperm DNA fragmentation, using sperm chromatin dispersion (SCD) technique. The percentage of morphologically normal sperm was significantly lower in RSA patients compared with control group (51.

Periodontal disease is an infectious disease and infection is risk factor for preterm delivery. Respecting to the mechanisms of preterm delivery and because involved mediators in this procedure are synthesized in periodontal disease, gum disease is investigated as risk factor for preterm delivery.

Background: Zinc deficiency can lead to clinically relevant disturbances in tissue functions and particularly important for birth weight of neonates. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between serum zinc in pregnant women and the incidence of low birth weight (<2500 g) in their newborns.
Methods: This case-control study was done on women who delivered low birth weight infants (Cases), and normal birth weight infants (Controls).
Background And Purpose: The role of DCE-MR imaging in the study of bone marrow perfusion is only partially developed, though potential applications for routine use in the clinical setting are beginning to be described. We hypothesize that DCE-MR imaging can be used to discriminate between hypervascular and hypovascular metastases based on measured perfusion variables.
Materials And Methods: We conducted a retrospective study of 26 patients using conventional MR imaging and DCE-MR imaging.
Background: Episodes of subacute worsening of motor function occur commonly in Parkinson disease (PD), but there has been surprisingly little research about the clinical characteristics of these exacerbations in the outpatient setting.
Methods: Retrospective study of an established cohort of 120 outpatients with PD. Primary outcome measures were the frequency, causes, and outcomes of motor exacerbations.
Background: The physiological changes in thyroid gland during pregnancy have been suggested as one of the pathophysiologic causes of preeclampsia.
Objective: The aim of this study was comparison of serum levels of Tri-iodothyronine (T3), Thyroxine (T4), and Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone (TSH) in preeclampsia and normal pregnancy.
Materials And Methods: In this case-control study, 40 normal pregnant women and 40 cases of preeclampsia in third trimester of pregnancy were evaluated.

Background: There has always been an asking question with physicians and health staff whether delivery mode can effect on child intelligence. This study was conducted to compare the intelligence quotient (IQ) of school aged children delivered by cesarean section and vaginal delivery in Mashhad, Iran.
Methods: This study conducted in two stages; a cross-sectional section in which 5000 randomly selected children, who were 6-7 years old, attended at 10 Cognitive Examination Posts in Mashhad.

Aim: Preterm delivery is defined as a birth before 37 weeks' gestation and is the cause of two-thirds of perinatal mortality and thus one of the major problems in obstetrics. Its etiology is unknown, but hormonal factors have been reported to play a part. Progesterone is a placental hormone and effective in maintaining pregnancy.
