[Actual problems of the surgical treatment of chest gunshot wounds].

The experience obtained during the treatment of 86 casualties with chest injuries was generalized. The authors present the scheme of diagnosis and treatment for the given patient category. To diagnose the cardiac injuries the operation (pericardium fenestration) was proposed.

[Diagnosis and treatment of gunshot wounds to the chest].

Experience of treatment of 86 patients with chest wounds are summarized. Diagnostic and curative algorithm of these patients are presented. Fenestration of the pericardium is proposed for diagnosis of heart wounds.
