[Influence of D genome of wheat on expression of novel type spike branching in hybrid populations of 171ACS line].

A 171ACS line (AABBDD, 2n = 6x = 42) has been crossed with the tetra- (AABB and AAGG, 2n = 4x = 28) and octoploid (AAAABBGG, 2n = 8x = 56) wheat species without the D genome, as well as with hexaploid (AABBDD and AAGGDD, 2n = 6x = 42) wheat species and tetra- (AADD, 2n = 4x = 28) and hexaploid (AADDSS, 2n = 6x = 42) amphidiploids that have the D genome. The inheritance of a novel type of spike branching in these obtained hybrid populations F1-F3 was studied. According to the results of a morphogenetic analysis of hybrid populations derived from crossings between 171ACS and wheat species without the D genome, the novel type of branching was found to be controlled by a single recessive gene (although a phenotype of the 171ACS line gives a handle for a doubt about occurrence of the second gene) and the 171ACS line is a source of gene of the novel type branching.

[Borderline nervous mental disorders in patients with chronic joint diseases].

Nervous-psychic status by criteria of the V. P. Serbsky Center of Mental Health (Moscow) was assessed in 107 patients with rheumatoid arthritis (n = 54), osteoarthritis deformans (n = 35), gout (n = 11), ankylosing spondyloarthritis (n = 7).

[Skin temperature topography and the thermoreflex in atherosclerotic psychosis].

The author conducted a dynamic measurement of skin temperature and the neurovascular reflex in 179 patients with atherosclerotic psychoses. It was possible to eliminate a new diagnostical index which was named by the author as an index of skin-temperature asymmetry. It was established that the skin temperature in such mental disorders is 2-3 degrees lower than in normals while the index of skin-temperature asymmetry is 3-4 times more than in normals and the neurovascular reflex is weakened.

[Kidney function in patients with ulcer disease and cancer of the gastrointestinal tract before and after surgery].

A correlation between indices of the renal function before and after the operation has been made in patients with ulcerous disease and cancer of the gastrointestinal tract. It is the authors' opinion that a correction of the water-salt metabolism, adequate replacement of blood loss and some other measures prevent considerably the occurrence of renal insufficiency.
