Background: Triclosan, a common antimicrobial agent, is widely used in personal-care products and as a topical antiseptic in atopic dermatitis (AD).
Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the topical and systemic effect of triclosan on AD in murine models, with a specific focus on the role of thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP).
Methods: AD-like skin disease was induced by topical application of MC903 and house dust mites in female wildtype BALB/c, C57BL/6 J, and TSLP receptor (TSLPR)-knockout mouse strains.
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) is a gradually worsening and fatal heterogeneous lung disease characterized by airflow limitation and increasingly decline in lung function. Currently, it is one of the leading causes of death worldwide. The consistent feature of COPD is airway inflammation.

Understanding the karyotype projection and LTR-RTs amplification could contribute to untangling evolutionary history. This study compared the karyotype and LTR-RTs evolution in the genomes of eight oaks, a dominant lineage in Northern Hemisphere forests.

Purpose: Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are abundant, stable, and evolutionarily conserved noncoding RNAs with impacts on cell proliferation, differentiation, invasion, apoptosis, and immunity by acting as an miRNA sponge. This study aimed to investigate the expression of circRNAs in vitiligo and analyze the differentially expressed circRNAs (DEcircRNAs) bioinformatically.
Patients And Methods: Biopsies of five lesional and five nonlesional skins of patients with vitiligo and five healthy skins (control) were harvested in this study.

Cutaneous cryptococcosis, an infectious disease resulting from , primarily affects immunodeficient individuals. Here, we report a case of mediastinal small cell carcinoma (MSCC) complicated with multiple skin and soft tissue infections mimicking erysipelas and cellulitis. Antibiotics for bacteria were ineffective and a culture of pus from the infected areas revealed in this patient.

Objective: To perform a systematic review and meta-analysis that elucidates the efficacy of the combination of phototherapy and topical calcipotriol.
