Background: Osteosarcoma (OSC) is considered one of the most common malignant bone tumours in adolescents. Due to OSC's poor prognosis, a comprehensive approach to exploring these aspects is highly needed to improve the survival probability of OSC. In this study, we tried to explore the significance of miRNA-encoded PTEN for clinical-pathological features and prognostic value in OSC.

Growing concerns about the adverse effects of social media use have prompted the exploration of experimental interventions, defined as digital detox interventions. However, it remains unclear whether digital detox interventions are effective for mental health outcomes.

Green mussel shells contain a high percentage of HA, making them a promising alternative for bone healing. This research aims to reveal the effectiveness of green mussel shell HA as a bone substitute material and to provide knowledge for further research.

Studies link FPC to syndromes like HBOC, suggesting BRCA1/BRCA2 mutations play a role. BRCA gene functions in DNA repair impact FPC management, influencing sensitivity to therapies like PARP inhibitors.

This study aims to summarize the specific outcomes between buried and exposed K-wire for the management of hand and forearm fractures.
Methods: We conducted relevant literature searches on Europe PMC, Medline, Scopus, and Cochrane Library databases using specific keywords.

Background: Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) hold promise for osteoarthritis (OA) treatment, potentially enhanced by combining them with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and hyaluronic acid (HA). This study aimed to assess the synergy of MSCs, PRP, and varying HA doses, and determine optimal MSC sources to treat early-stage OA in the perspective of Lysholm score, VAS Score, KSS score, and WOMAC score.
Method: Original articles from 2013 to 2023 were screened from four databases, focusing on clinical trials and randomized controlled trials.
Glaucoma is an optic neuropathy disease that causes cupping of the optic disc and decreased visual field. Glaucoma is still the second leading cause of blindness globally, with a worldwide prevalence of more than 76 million people in 2020. However, no therapy can cure glaucoma completely, especially when optic nerve damage has occurred.
