A Wireless Handheld Pressure Measurement System for In Vivo Monitoring of Intraocular Pressure in Rabbits.

Intraocular pressure (IOP) is the leading modifiable risk factor for preventing vision loss in glaucoma patients. Direct and frequent IOP measurements are highly desirable to assess adequacy of treatment and prevent further vision loss. In this study, we report on successful in vivo measurements of intraocular pressure in rabbits using an optical IOP measurement system.
