This study explores the sorption capacity and field application of activated carbons (ACs) derived from plant residues for the remediation of oil-contaminated soils. ACs were prepared from rice husks, reed stalks, pine sawdust and wheat straw using two-stage pyrolysis and chemical activation with potassium hydroxide. The structural and physicochemical properties of these ACs were analyzed using BET surface area measurements, SEM analysis, Raman spectroscopy and FTIR spectroscopy.

The purpose of our study was to study the distribution of alleles and genotypes AGTR1, AGТ, LPL and ADRB2 among adolescents of the Kazakh population and to identify the relationship of these genes with predictors of obesity.
Methods: The study involved 184 adolescents aged 15-18 years of the Kazakh population.

A prospective cohort study was conducted on the dynamic observation of 110 pregnant women with hypertension on the basis of perinatal centers №1 and №3 of Nur-Sultan (Kazakhstan) in 2018-2019. The main method for monitoring blood pressure was an office measurement, which was carried out in a perinatal center with an Omron HEM-FL31-E apparatus in compliance with the ESC 2018 recommendations.
