Antitumor and immunomodulatory activity of water-soluble polysaccharide from Inonotus obliquus.

The medicinal mushroom Inonotus obliquus has been used as a folk remedy for a long time in Russia and East-European countries to treat gastrointestinal cancer, cardiovascular disease and diabetes.
