Background And Aim: Few studies have evaluated risk factors for short-term re-bleeding in patients with colonic diverticular bleeding (CDB). We aimed to reveal risk factors for re-bleeding within a month in patients with CDB.
Methods: We retrospectively analyzed clinical course of patients with CDB diagnosed at 10 institutions between 2015 and 2019.
We present the case of a 17-year-old male patient with ulcerative colitis (UC) under infliximab therapy and a family history of IgA vasculitis (IgAV). During a maintenance infliximab session, he developed palpable purpura, abdominal pain, and hematochezia. Computed tomography and endoscopy revealed findings compatible with gastrointestinal manifestations of IgAV.

Patient Concerns: A 21-year-old Japanese man was referred to our institution, complaining of refractory diarrhea and weight loss of 14 kg during the past two years.
Familial amyloid polyneuropathy (FAP) is an autosomal dominant disease associated with the mutations in the transthyretin gene. To date, the endoscopic findings of the small-bowel lesions of FAP have never been described. We report a rare case of FAP with gastrointestinal involvement.
