Objectives: To determine the effect of rehabilitation motivation on activities of daily living improvement in subacute stroke patients starting intensive rehabilitation.

Materials And Methods: This was a single-center cohort study involving patients with a subacute stroke who were admitted to or discharged from a Recovery Rehabilitation Unit between February 2021 and August 2022. Improvement in Activity of Daily Living was evaluated using the Functional Independence Measure.

Characteristics of Trunk Compensation Movements during Walking in People with Bilateral Transtibial Amputation: A Cross-sectional Study.

Objectives: The gait characteristics of people with bilateral transtibial amputation are not well understood. This study aimed to clarify changes in trunk lateral bending and the trunk flexion angle during walking in people with bilateral transtibial amputation.

Methods: In this cross-sectional study, four participants with bilateral transtibial amputation who could walk without assistance (BTTA group) and ten able-bodied participants (control group) were recruited.

Impact of age on the recovery of six-minute walking distance after lung cancer surgery: a retrospective cohort study.

Purpose: The aim was to investigate the relationship of age for recovery of six-minute walking distance (6MWD), pulmonary function, and health-related quality of life (HRQOL) after lung cancer surgery.

Methods: Primary outcome was the 6MWD recovery until 6 months after surgery. Secondary outcome was the recoveries of forced expiratory volume in 1 s (FEV) and HRQOL until 6 months after surgery.
