Coronavirus with intact infectivity attached to PPE surfaces pose significant threat to the spread of COVID-19. We tested the hypothesis that an electroceutical fabric, generating weak potential difference of 0.5 V, disrupts the infectivity of coronavirus upon contact by destabilizing the electrokinetic properties of the virion.

In these applications, cell samples of large volume (10(8)-10(9)cells) are often processed for transfection. This poses new challenges for current transfection methods and practices.

In the current study, we investigate gene transduction into human preosteoclasts by a replication defective lentivirus-based vector containing a modified HIV-1 genome. Human preosteoclasts (differentiating osteoclasts) were transduced with lentiviruses bearing an enhanced green fluorescent protein (EFGP) reporter gene.
