Ghrelin is a peptide hormone with various important physiological functions. The unique feature of ghrelin is its serine 3 acyl-modification, which is essential for ghrelin activity. The major form of ghrelin is modified with n-octanoic acid (C8:0) by ghrelin O-acyltransferase.

A 62-year-old female was referred to our hospital for examination of a right lung S3 nodule which was recently increasing in its size. Positron emission tomography-computed tomography (PET-CT) examination revealed positive signals at the S3 nodule as well as mediastinal lymph nodes, apex of heart and right pleura.

It is already known that-contrarily to the standard model case-a first-order electroweak phase transition may occur. Here we show that, depending on the model parameters, a dramatically different scenario may happen: A first-order, six massless quark QCD phase transition occurs first, which then triggers the electroweak symmetry breaking.

Complex 1 was prepared as a parent complex without any substituents. Complexes 2-4 contained methyl-, methoxy-, and trifluoromethyl groups at 4,4'-positions on the bpy ancillary ligand.
