This was a 10-y review (N ≥ 30) of adults with SA of the native ankle joint presenting to a single center from December 2009 to January 2019. Patients with prior ankle surgery, prosthetic infection, inoculation from trauma, not initially treated at our institution or lost to follow-up were excluded.
