It was demonstrated that DHT promoted cell proliferation activity, expression of androgen receptor, and collagen synthesis in ACL fibroblasts as compared with control. Further, the levels of these butyltin compounds and their derivatives in the mitochondrial fractions of the hepatocytes were investigated in these animal species.
