Thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP) is a rare and potentially life-threatening blood disorder caused by a deficiency or dysfunction of ADAMTS13 and can occur secondary to various conditions, including autoimmune diseases, infections, medications, pregnancy, and malignancies. Diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) inducing TTP is uncommon and not widely reported in the literature. Herein, we report a case of TTP induced by DKA in an adult patient.
