Syringomas are benign adnexal tumors derived from the intraepidermal portion of eccrine sweat ducts. Clinically, they usually appear as small yellow or skin-colored papules ranging from 1-3 mm in diameter on the lower eyelids. The condition of eruptive syringomas is a clinically distinct, uncommon variant of syringomas.
