The terms "sub-Saharan Africa," "Gender Norms," "Poverty," and "Adolescent Pregnancy" were used to search the literature for preexisting determinants of adolescent pregnancy in academic and grey literature. "COVID-19" was added to investigate the potential consequences of the pandemic.
