Introduction: With the growing population of pancreas transplant recipients followed long-term, some female recipients are going to require surgical intervention for gynecologic symptoms and pathologies. Currently, there is a lack of literature describing how to approach this population and whether pelvic gynecologic procedures (GYN) can be performed safely given the proximity of the pancreatic (and possibly renal) allograft. In this single-center retrospective analysis, all pancreas transplant recipients that subsequently underwent GYN were reviewed.

Both groups received bilateral injections of 266 mg Exparel (20 ml) and 60 ml of 0.

Although expectant management is usually contraindicated, the ideal combination of medical or surgical treatments is unclear and must be tailored to the patient's preferences and stability, provider skill, and the available resources.

Study Design: Four databases were searched using keywords "yoga", "pregnancy", "perinatal care", "prenatal care", "postnatal care", "postpartum period", "peripartum period", "patient outcome assessment", "outcome assessment", "pregnancy outcome", "treatment outcome". Trials were considered if they were randomized controlled trials (RCTs) published from 2011 to 2018 and evaluated an antenatal yoga intervention.
The utility of endocervical sampling at the time of colposcopic examination after less than high-grade screening Papanicolaou smear is unknown. To address this question, we performed a retrospective review using a colposcopy patient care database maintained at our urban academic medical center. We examined the prevalence of high-grade dysplasia in endocervical samples, the prevalence of high-grade dysplasia in directed cervical biopsies, and the correlations between high-grade endocervical dysplasia and patient factors of age and time to colposcopy.

The majority of these cases are not due to cancer or pregnancy complications and, as a result, women are faced with a variety of treatment alternatives, the selection of which is largely dependent on personal preferences for care rather than clinical outcomes.
Objective: This randomized trial was designed to evaluate a preference elicitation tool to promote physician-patient collaborative decision making for treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB).
Objective: The purpose of this study is to describe current health care provider cervical cancer screening practice patterns for average-risk women in the state of Indiana in comparison to the 2012 guidelines as well as earlier guidelines. We also aim to describe what factors are associated with increased adherence to guidelines, and what factors may impede adherence.
Study Design: We conducted a vignette-based survey among a convenience sample of obstetricians, gynecologists, midwives, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants attending the Indiana American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists Section meeting in January 2013.

With improvement in immunosuppression and surgical techniques, more women are undergoing renal transplantation for management of end-stage renal disease. Location of the transplanted pelvic kidney and transplanted ureter must be taken into consideration when performing pelvic surgery. Two cases in which laparoscopic hysterectomy was successfully performed in patients who had previously undergone renal transplantation are reported.
