Network care: relationship between prenatal care adequacy and hospital obstetric care in a cross-sectional study.

Objective: To assess the relationship between prenatal care adequacy and the demand for hospital obstetric care.

Method: A cross-sectional, quantitative study, conducted in a Brazilian capital, at six basic units and a hospital unit, from 2017 to 2020. Pregnant women who met the predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria participated in the study.

Care recommendations for parturient and postpartum women and newborns during the COVID-19 pandemic: a scoping review.

Objective to map the current knowledge on recommendations for labor, childbirth, and newborn (NB) care in the context of the novel coronavirus. Method scoping review of papers identified in databases, repositories, and reference lists of papers included in the study. Two researchers independently read the papers' full texts, extracted and analyzed data, and synthesized content.

Individual birth planning as a teaching-learning strategy for good practices in obstetric care.

Objective: To verify students' knowledge about individual birth planning and learn their opinion about the use of this teaching-learning strategy for good obstetric practices.

Method: This is a descriptive study conducted with midwifery students who made primary health care internships. Data collection was performed digitally from 01/2017 to 05/2017 through the Google Forms®Platform.

[Women working at university restaurants: life and work conditions and gender-based violence].

This is an exploratory and descriptive study with a quantitative approach that aimed to understand the social production and reproduction processes of women working at university restaurants and the occurrence and the magnitude of gender-based violence committed against them by their intimate partners. The data were collected through semi-structured interviews. The analysis categories used were social production and reproduction, gender and gender-based violence.

The gender research in nursing production: contributions of the Gender, Health and Nursing Research Group from the University of São Paulo School of Nursing.

The present study of the theses and dissertations produced by the Gender, Health and Nursing Research Group, at the University of São Paulo School of Nursing was performed with the objective to describe and analyze the knowledge production of the referred group, its produce and construction process. The outcomes indicate an expressive production in the collection of gender studies in the national setting, revealing that advancing the understanding of the social phenomenon from a gender perspective has improved not only the research, as well as the intervention domain. In the field of health and nursing care practices, it has been shown that it has proved capable of revealing the pervading limitations and strengths.
