Accurate identification of druggable pockets is essential for structure-based drug design. However, most pocket-identification algorithms prioritize their geometric properties over downstream docking performance. To address this limitation, we developed RAPID-Net, a pocket-finding algorithm for seamless integration with docking workflows.

Clinical skills models permit learners to practice a skill and improve their competency before performing the skill on a live animal; however, relatively few bovine models exist. This study aimed to develop and validate a bovine coccygeal venipuncture model and rubric for teaching and assessing veterinary students using a validation framework consisting of content evidence, internal structure evidence, and relationship with other variables evidence.

Teaching this task on models facilitates scheduled training sessions and sufficient practice to reach competency. This study sought to create and validate a bovine caudal epidural model and scoring rubric using a framework of content evidence, internal structure evidence, and relationship with other variables evidence.

The dysregulation of TAG hydrolysis is involved in various metabolic diseases such as metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD).

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications (NSAIDs) are thought of as the mainstay of home and in-patient pain management for pediatric patients with sickle cell disease. Parents and providers often fear the use of opioids due to the risk of addiction.

They can be seen in vasculitis or, more commonly, after renal biopsy, percutaneous renal surgery, penetrating trauma, and less frequently due to blunt renal trauma. We present the case of a 28-year-old woman with lupus nephritis accompanied by the incidental finding of renal pseudoaneurysms in both kidneys after an elective percutaneous renal biopsy of the left kidney.

In mice, even though this intraflagellar transport component is not required for cilia formation in somatic cells, it is essential for sperm formation. However, the intracellular localization of this protein in male germ cells is not known given no reliable antibodies are available for histologic studies, and the dynamic trafficking in the developing sperm flagella is not clear.

NCBI provides search and retrieval operations for most of these data from 31 distinct repositories and knowledgebases. The E-utilities serve as the programming interface for most of these.

PComA aneurysm flow diversion is complicated by the presence of fetal posterior circulation (FPC), which has an estimated prevalence of 4-29% and is more common in people of black (11.5%) than white (4.

This study investigated how individualized measures of preoperative cortical gyrification index differ in 142 infants with congenital heart disease, using a normative modelling approach with reference data from 320 typically developing infants. Gyrification index -scores for the whole brain and six major cortical areas were generated using two different normative models: one accounting for post-menstrual age at scan, post-natal age at scan and sex, and another additionally accounting for supratentorial brain volume.

Survival rates are over 90%, however infants with CHD remain at high risk of attention and executive function impairments. These abilities are difficult to assess in toddlers because clinical assessments rely on language abilities which are commonly delayed in CHD.

Point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) is becoming an increasingly valuable tool in hospital medicine, especially with advancements in ultrasound technology that make it easier to perform. POCUS can augment the history and physical exam in patients with suspected SSTIs.

Here, we show that in response to stressful public and private events the high-level features of information people seek online alter, reflecting their motives for seeking knowledge. We first show that when people want information to guide action they selectively ask "How" questions.

Along these lines, carbenes and carbenoid intermediates are particularly attractive, but often unknown, high-energy intermediates. Classical methods to access metal carbene intermediates exploit two-electron chemistry to form the carbon-metal bond.

Here, data collected by certified and trained PSOs during seismic surveys conducted between 2002-2015 were compiled and analyzed to assess utility in assessing marine mammal responses to seismic noise and effectiveness of required mitigation measures. A total of 3,886 agency-required bi-weekly PSO Effort and Sightings reports were analyzed comprising 598,319 hours of PSO visual effort and 15,117 visual sighting records of marine mammals.

In particular, semisaturated heteroarenes possess attractive solubility properties and a higher fraction of sp carbons, which can improve binding affinity and specificity.
