This integrative review aimed to verify the scientific evidence about maneuvers to facilitate the advancement of CVCs in the clavicular region and/or shoulder in adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. Primary studies with available electronic abstracts, independent of idiom or publication year, for which results showed aspects related to descriptions of maneuvers for CVC advancement in the clavicular region and shoulder, were included in the review.
