Article Synopsis
  • * A hydrophilic polypropylene (PP) film was created using air plasma treatment, enhancing the adhesion between the PP and copper layers in the composite foil.
  • * The new composite copper foil (PP@Cu-1) shows significantly stronger adhesion and excellent electrochemical properties, making it a strong competitor to traditional bare copper in high-energy-density LIBs.

Article Synopsis
  • This study followed 1,039 Chinese adolescents over three years to examine how interparental conflict (IPC) relates to their preference for solitude (PFS) through depressive symptoms.
  • The results showed that higher levels of IPC were linked to increased depressive symptoms, which then led to a greater preference for being alone.
  • Additionally, within individual adolescents, more frequent IPC predicted higher depressive symptoms, and changes in these symptoms were associated with changes in their preference for solitude.

A healthy ecosystem is fundamental for sustainable urban development. Rapid urbanization has altered landscape patterns and ecological functions, resulting in disturbances to ecosystem health. Exploring the effects of urbanization on ecosystem health and the spatial relationships between them is significant for cities along the "Belt and Road" aiming to achieve sustainable regional development.

Land use change in urban agglomerations is gradually becoming a major cause and a key factor of global environmental change. As a consequence of the interaction between land use and ecological processes, the transformation in natural ecosystem structure and function with human activity disturbances demands a systematic assessment of ecosystem health. Taking the Central Yunnan urban agglomeration, undergoing transition and development, as an example, the current study reveals the typical land use change processes and then emphasizes the importance of spatial heterogeneity of ecosystem services in health assessment.

Parental reflective functioning (PRF) is important for parenting and child development. To effectively assess PRF in Chinese parents, this study aimed to revise the Parental Reflective Functioning Questionnaire (PRFQ) for the Chinese context. The original Chinese version of the PRFQ (PRFQ-C) was revised by following psychometric validation procedures in a sample of Chinese parents ( = 2,021, 1,034 mothers and 987 fathers).

It is important for preventing and resolving landscape ecology risk and promoting regional sustainable development to explore the characteristics of temporal and spatial variations of landscape ecology risk of key ecological function zone and to reveal the potential influence of human activity on aggravation of landscape ecological risk. Based on the land cover data of 2000, 2010, and 2020, we constructed a model of risk assessment on landscape ecology, incorporating a landscape index and an assessment of ecological vulnerability, with the support of ArcGIS 10.8 and Fragstats 4.
